The service aims to enhance safety and mobility for women, offering an on-demand two-wheeler ride option that connects female passengers with female drivers.
Abhishek Padhye, Head of Regional Business Operations for Uber India and South Asia, shared that Uber Moto Women provides women with a safe, affordable, and convenient travel option.
To enhance safety, riders can share their journey details with up to five trusted contacts for real-time tracking. Additionally, the service ensures privacy by anonymizing phone numbers and drop-off addresses. Uber’s proactive safety feature, Ride Check, also monitors long stops during the ride to ensure passenger security.
