India’s First High-Voltage EV Motorcycle Launched

Rapti is a new EV startup company based in Chennai. Launched India’s first high-voltage electric motorcycle. It has been developed with the technology used in electric cars around the world. HV motorcycles are India’s first two-wheelers to come with charging standards and high-voltage (HV) technology used by electric cars. These, along with the onboard charger, will be compatible with over 13,500 CCS2 car charging stations available across the country 

The motorcycle is priced at Rs. 250-300. It is priced at Rs 2.39 lakh. The Rapt.HV motorcycle has a range of about 200 km. IDC has a range of Est. The company claims a range of 150 km on a single charge. The motorcycle can do 60km / h in 3.5 seconds. It has the ability to reach speeds. Also, the battery is IP67 rated, which means that it offers the highest level of protection. The Raptie.HV is equipped with a battery that is comparable to electric cars, with a range of up to 8 years or 80,000 km. The company claims to provide long-term value to its customers.

Raptee.HV’s in-house technology has developed electronics for HV technology. Its custom-built operating system, based on the automotive-grade Lynx platform, is highly responsive. The Raptee HV will be available in four colours – Horizon Red, Arctic White, Mercury Grey and Eclipse Black.

The company’s co-founder and CEO Dinesh Arjun said, “We will start deliveries in Chennai and Bengaluru from January and expand to other major cities based on the adoption of electric mobility in select markets. Our goal is not to create an electric version of a fuel-powered motorcycle, but to do justice to motorcycling with truly pioneering technology.
